What is a Sock Blank?  It's a swath of pre-knitted fabric, ready to dye in any color ways or style.  Ours are 460 yards of double stranded super soft, super squishy, superwash merino and nylon.  So you can dye one blank and have TWO perfectly matched hand-dyed socks.  Simply unravel your masterpiece as you knit toe up, cuff down, TAAT or however you like to knit socks.

You say you don't knit socks?  No problem.  Your blank can be used to knit any project you would use fingering weight or sock yarn for.  Or leave your blank double stranded and knit directly from it to use it like any skein of worsted weight yarn - only THIS one will have been hand dyed by YOU. 

This 2 hour class includes discussion, instruction, and all materials and supplies.  Wear comfortable clothes and shoes - we'll be standing as we dye.  Don't wear white, just as a precaution.  Feel free to bring or wear a smock or apron.   We didn't take any precautions when we did our test run and nobody had a speck of dye on them.  (Even John!)
